While leading the prayer session at Church, I had an inclination to pray for grace to evangelize. Even after praying, the thought wouldn’t leave. On the bus home, “No time to waste” came to mind.
If you’re an avid fan of James Bond, you’ll know the latest movie is titled “No time to die”. At the instance of the thought, I reckoned that the article ought to be titled No time to waste.
The Bible says in Matthew 24:42 – 44:
“42. So you, too, must keep watch! For you don’t know what day your Lord is coming. 43. Understand this: If a homeowner knew exactly when a burglar was coming, he would keep watch and not permit his house to be broken into. 44. You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected. What if He showed up now? Or maybe tomorrow?
What if He shows up now? Or maybe tomorrow?
There’s no time to waste in telling someone about Jesus. If you think that someone close to you may not make it to heaven, you’ll need to double up. On the prayers, the outreach, and the love you show.
After listening to Nabeel Qureshi’s testimony about getting saved, there’s a realization that indeed there’s no time to waste. Each moment spent is an avenue to reveal Jesus.
Every time you meet up with someone is an opportunity to speak about Jesus. The times of prayer you observe is a great time to pray for the salvation of someone. Don’t be afraid, it may look daunting but the Holy Spirit gives utterance.
Without dallying, the key point is this: There’s no time to waste in spreading the Gospel of Christ. So many are yet to receive Christ because they haven’t heard.
Apostle Paul notes in Romans 10:14 : But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?
Will you tell someone about Jesus today and everyday?

Always a needed reminder. I really like that you mentioned these three areas to double down (the prayers, the outreach, and the love you show.) All are super important and need to be done. Great post Funmi!
