In May of this year, I remember crying because a family lost their breadwinner. It was so emotional for me because it was a young family with little children. Although I’d been praying for them, I couldn’t help but think of the void left.

At once, I felt the Holy Spirit begin to ask me a series of questions. There’s an article I wrote earlier about my Grandmother’s death and how I didn’t know how I will survive. The first question was “Didn’t God fill the void your Grandmother left?

Yes, God did fill the void my Grandmother left. The second question was “Can’t He fill this void as well? ” This void refers to the young bereaved family.

All in that moment, I wiped my tears and began to pray over that family. That God will fill the void left and strengthen them.

This singular experience gave room to write this article. It answers your question if you have ever asked “Can God fill the void?” Nothing is really too hard for God and you need to know that today.

The Bible records in Luke 1:37: “With God, nothing is impossible”. There is no void God cannot fill. Quite a practical example would be in Genesis 1, where the earth is described as void. The earth you see today, at some point was void but God came through for it.

Edit: Three times now, I was ready to post this article but discovery got the better part of me. Here’s a short piece written a while back by yours truly.

You need God

God needs you! Now, read that from right to left, it says You need God. I have come to the conclusion that we all need God. There’s a certain void in each of us that yearns for something more.

Hear me out first. Do you ever do some things due to “boredom”? Are there habits you do because you think it will give you something to fill your mind?

If you’re truthful with yourself, you do those things because it fills the void momentarily. After some time, you start to feel empty again. That’s why you need God, because He fills the void completely. I hope you now understand why You need God.

Thank you for reading!
