The last 8 months have been all about leaning more on God and people. Not in a way of trying to get something. Instead, in the reminder that God is the true prize and we don’t have to do life alone..
Atimes, it seems life is slow in those moments when desire transitions to reality. When just like an expectant mother, you anxiously anticipate when the desire will manifest.
2 weeks ago, while waiting at the government office, I heard God say to me: “It’s not how long you wait that matters, instead what you do while waiting.”
By the end of my 2 hour wait, I had my ID. Although I wished it was my turn sooner, I made the most of the waiting process.
Once, I heard someone say: “We are all waiting for something, it’s just different on an individual basis”.
How do you wait?
You know, Isaiah 40:31 NKJV says:
[31] But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
Put your focus on God and what He wants to do in you. Many times, your waiting is God calling you to become the person who can wield “your request.” Who will not make an idol of the request.
Now, I remember the article I wrote some years ago: This is why Repetition should be embraced. Sometimes, we may also wait a while longer because we haven’t passed the “class” we’re in.
To say the least, I’ve enjoyed learning to wait on God and depend on His people as well. It’s so good to see that people can be dependable if you show them how to.
In the coming months of 2025, I’ll be embarking on a new challenge. It’ll take a 2 year period. Can you take a guess 🫣?
As it’ll be an exciting period, I’ll be redirecting some of my time from the blog to that. As a result, I plan to write one article per month. Please keep me in your prayers 🙏🏼.
